Arts Organisations:

The Lowry is a charitable organisation which brings visual and performing arts to the residents of Greater Manchester and the North West through its theatres and galleries. Through its training schemes and community learning programmes it changes the lives of local people. The venue is named after Salford painter L. S. Lowry who is famous for his industrial scenes and landscapes of North West England.
