Liverpool Art Fair has been launched in the heart of the city centre at Liverpool’s designer shopping mall, Metquarter. This event, selling affordable paintings, prints and sculptures by artists from across the region will run for 80 days from mid-June. Exhibitors are offering visitors a range of locally sourced, affordable art work. The exhibition is free to enter and open to the public 7 days a week, from 14th June – 1st September 2019. I very much enjoyed seeing the work of Belgian artist Tom Dekyvere at The Lowry recently. Through the installation, titled ‘Nervous’, the artist was responding to the building and creating a temporary artwork exploring reality and the human mind.
The installation is free to visit and is suspended in the Lowry's public spaces. At night, interactive technology allows visitors to use their own brain waves to change the lighting and overall effect of the artwork.
My landscape work 'Linear Moon' has been chosen against international competition to be a finalist in the neo:artprize 2015 exhibition. The exhibition runs from the 27th August until 1st November 2015. Very flattered to have have been chosen to be the independent panel of curators and artists to be involved.
