I very much enjoyed seeing the work of Belgian artist Tom Dekyvere at The Lowry recently. Through the installation, titled ‘Nervous’, the artist was responding to the building and creating a temporary artwork exploring reality and the human mind.
The installation is free to visit and is suspended in the Lowry's public spaces. At night, interactive technology allows visitors to use their own brain waves to change the lighting and overall effect of the artwork.

I believe that creativity is a little like a petrol tank, whereby as you use some fuel to drive forward a creative project you also need to immerse yourself creatively in order to refill your depleted tank.
